Hi, my name is Meitar. I'm 15 and I lived in Efrat pretty much all my life except the times I went to the USA. I been in America a lot because my father works at Yale University, so he fly's a lot and I join him sometimes. Do you like America? I can't decide, 'cause I have a lot of fun every time I go there but I can't see myself as a citizen there. My best friend is now in America, she went there for almost a year and I really miss her! We're best friends almost from when we were born and it's so weird when she's not around… at least I still have my 2 other best friends, without them I wouldn't of handle this year! The four of us are best friends and they are such a big part in my life. Another thing I do with my life is - counseloring in Mevaseret; Mevaseret is an absorption center for new immigrants from Ethiopia. We help them settle in Israel and we play with them and visit their houses. It's really important and it's really fun! I love the Ethiopian culture and I learned few words in Amharic and that's really cool!My interest for Ethiopian culture started from my brother-in-law, he's Ethiopian and he's an amazing guy, I'm doing my project about him.
